non-update

I've been trying to think of something to post about all week, but I've literally got nothing to say. Things have been pretty much the same since getting back to Japan--keeping busy at school, trying to talk myself out from under the kotatsu (heated table) to be social or go for a run in the freezing cold... typical winter stuff.

You might, however, notice that I've joined everyone else I know in adding a little "who's reading my blog" map to the right margin... I'm hoping that this doesn't provide ego-damaging evidence that no one in world is reading this (in which case I plan to abandon resolution #3!!)
